California State University, San Bernardino University Army ROTC Coyote Battalion serves the greater Inland Empire that includes San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in order to train Students/Cadets to become future Officers in the Armed Forces as well as leaders in the Professional Business World.

The CSUSB Department of Military Science is an academic department that resides in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences of California State University. The Military Science curriculum supplements students' academic majors by offering elective courses ranging from leadership and management to military history. Students who complete our Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program become officers in the U.S. Army, Army Reserves, or the Army National Guard and are guaranteed either full or part time employment.

Partnership schools include: University of California, Riverside, University of Redlands, California Baptist University, Loma Linda School of Nursing, and several local community colleges.

Army ROTC is an excellent leadership development program that offers challenging, hands-on training to build confidence and character while developing leadership skills for future success.
